| Cwerks Performers |
Christopher Scadden has been performing steadily since high school, through college and onto professional work. Chris has played everything from Horatio in Hamlet at Park City, Utahs Shakespeare Festival to heroes and villains in melodramas at The Great American Melodrama in Bakersfield, California. He has also done television and radio commercials. Christopher has a BA in theater and an MS in bilingual education. |
Marian Scadden was not going to touch theater in college because it was impractical, but she kept up her mime hobby. Then she overheard someone say childrens theater and she changed her major. She has been performing and teaching mime for 30 years. Marian has a short script published in Plays magazine and her scripts with Cwerks are more traveled than she is. |
Ian Scadden is usually the backstage boy for Cwerks; at college hes known as Paperweight. Ian is one of our best singers out of all our singing telegram characters. He played various roles in high school, including Aladdin. Ians played many roles for Cwerks, usually in childrens shows during the summer. |
Hannah Scadden has participated in so many of her mothers classes that this year she has begun to teach; she helps with a group of kindergarteners. She has also performed several shows for Cwerks. Hannah studies theater during the summer with Salems CET. (see resources) |
Jeff Carter has been one of Cwerks clowns and puppeteers for a few years. He has been doing both for much longer. Jeff is the director of Puppeteers for Christ. |
Robert Salberg, CET co-director, has also been one of our performers. Robert sings, dances and acts. He has been The Cat in the Gallery Playerss production of Seussical the Meussical. He is on Pentacles education committee. And he teaches and directs at Howard St. Charter School. Its amazing that we get him when we do. |
